Baz, Baz, Not Good: Was Elvis Ever Really in the Building?
“Blink and you might miss it.” That’s a phrase that I’d like to use to describe Baz Luhrmann’s latest film, one that moves at such breakneck speeds that at times I felt nauseous while watching. I can’t, though, and that’s because, despite its relentless pace and a constant barrage of shallow biopic moments, Elvis boasts a two-hour and 40-minute runtime that feels like it’s never going to end.
